Modular Robot Builder & Combat Kit: build it, break it, win
Our biggest pack yet is a whole game: a garage builder with 45 parts, physics combat with real damage, AI, a career and touch controls. And you can play it in your browser.

The Modular Robot Builder & Combat Kit is in review on the Unity Asset Store. It's the first pack in our new Robot Combat line, and it's different from everything we've made so far: it isn't a set of assets, it's a complete, playable game you can make your own.
Build it
Players build a robot in the garage, part by part: 45 parts in 10 categories, from chassis and treads to batteries, armour and weapons. Parts snap to sockets and to mounts on other parts, and you can rotate, resize and mirror them with undo and redo.
The part we're proudest of is free building. There's a frame kit you shape cell by cell, plus hinges, spin motors, pistons and turntables. Put a plate on a hinge and you have a flipper. Put a disc on a motor and you have a spinner. Nothing is scripted: the weapon's power comes from the physics of what you mounted.
Break it
In the arena, every part has its own health. Hits press dents into the mesh, damaged plates bend, broken parts fall off and the frame can be cut in two. AI opponents read the arena and avoid the floor saws, the hammer, the flipper and the pit, so careless drivers lose.
Win
Around the fights there's a whole game: a career with 3 leagues and 12 events, rivals, trophies, a scrap economy, a shop and challenges. The UI is complete and built from code, and phones get a floating thumb stick and weapon buttons.
How it was made
Like all our packs, there's no third-party art: the 50 models come from our own Blender scripts, the textures are generated by code and every sound is synthesised at runtime. It's 105 C# files, about 14,000 lines, with assembly definitions, XML comments and 23 EditMode tests.
There's a playable web demo on the site. Press F2 in a fight to let the AI drive your robot.
